Behler-Young Company was founded in 1926 and is Michigan’s largest wholesale distributor of Heating, Cooling and Refrigeration products. Employment Policy

It is the policy of Behler-Young Company that applications for employment are only accepted when there is an open and listed job vacancy. The only exception that will be made to this policy involves people who have specialized HVAC/R experience. We will accept, on an on-going basis, applications from candidates who have administrative HVAC/R experience, sales HVAC/R experience or technical HVAC/R experience. The reason for this exception is that candidates with applicable HVAC/R experience are difficult to find and we feel that we must maintain a bank of qualified candidates. These HVAC/R applications and resumes will remain active for one year from the date they are received.

Behler-Young will not accept applications on a walk-in basis nor accept unsolicited resumes other than the exception listed above. Therefore, people sending in unsolicited resumes will not be considered job applicants with Behler-Young.

It is also the policy of Behler-Young Company to (1) recruit, hire, train and promote qualified individuals into any and all job positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, height, weight, national origin, age, marital status, non-disqualifying disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law and (2) make employment decisions that comply with the applicable statutes and regulations.
